Did I get this wrong or did Rachel Jeantel say that she was in a closet when she was interviewed by Crump? There may be some misunderstanding here, perhaps she meant in her bedroom or the bathroom or something similar.
Is it possible that she agreed to the interview even though her mother was opposed to her being involved in the Trayvon Martin affair and that her mother was in the house at the time of the interview? She therefore had to hide herself from her mother and keep as quiet as possible.
It is easy to see why the mother should not want Rachel to get involved. It also seems that she herself was initially reluctant. Could it be that she was being threatened with something, revelation of nude photos, drug dealing, immigration status?
